Training and Staff Welfare

As a supplier of outstanding security services we fully recognise that our main asset is the people we employ. We pride ourselves on looking after everyone within the organisation to ensure the continuing success of the business.

To achieve this we appreciate that appraisals & regular reviews are a fundamental part of our training, & development  policy. This progressive approach enables us to pinpoint further training requirements, & helps to provide genuine career progression for our staff.

NSL is an approved “Edexcel” learning centre, & we provide a range of relevant “in house” work based training programmes.

We also offer comprehensive training on security & safety related matters to third party organisations on a regular basis.

Uniforms

It is important to both Clients & NSL that each & every member of staff is correctly turned out, & of smart appearance at all times.

In order to create a professional image, & provide staff that will create a positive first impression, appearance is inspected on a regular basis, & will be measured in KPI Format as part of our Service level agreement.

Having invested considerable time, effort, & resources in the recruitment, training, & screening of staff we do not allow staff appearance to jeopardise our future success due to unacceptable appearance.

Employees receive a full uniform on an annual basis along with the correct Personal protective equipment as & when necessary.

Staff Welfare

NSL management recognise that the safety of our staff is vital & as such we have lone worker protection systems in place,  All officers book on & off duty via our  24 hour control centre, & all staff receive regular supervisory visits.

Each site is supported by a regional contracts manager who’s responsibility is to ensure that regular visits are carried out in accordance with service level agreement guidelines. All guarding activity is reviewed regularly, along with the clients specific requirements.
