Why Do I need a service contract?

Customers rely upon their chosen Fire & security systems to provide the earliest possible warning of fire or theft, & as such protect both life, & property. When required these systems will be expected to operate correctly in an emergency. It makes sense that your chosen system(s) be kept in optimum working condition. 24 hour emergency cover is a must & is often a requirement of your insurer.

Regular servicing can also save money by ensuring that the maximum component life of your chosen system is attained, & also not exceeded!  Whilst also helping to minimise false alarms, & ensuring compliance with the relevant industry standards (which are prone to change from time to time)

Our scheduled regular maintenance visits, along with installations planned, designed, & installed to the highest standard has helped us to maintain our position as one of the regions leading installers.

In many cases Northern Security Systems are also able to maintain, service, & install additional equipment to systems installed by others, & our trained staff are always available to advise clients on the most appropriate manner in which to switch service, & maintenance providers.

24 hour service Dept

The Northern Security Group operates a dedicated 24 hour control room operating 365 days per year. We have a professionally trained team of technical staff, & tech support engineers who in many cases are able to diagnose, & solve operational problems with a short telephone call. Should out of hours attendance be required our call out engineers will always be on hand to execute repairs, as swiftly as possible.

Our service contracts are designed with the customer in mind, & unlike many security system providers we do not install equipment that locks our customers into using specific equipment that is only serviceable by the company that installed it. All equipment installed by Northern Security Ltd is Robust, Technologically advanced, reliable & generic.
