ANOTHER TOP TEAM WELCOMED ABOARD NSL

Northern Security Ltd is delighted to announce the acquisition of a well-established guarding firm based in Stockton, strengthening even further Northern Security`s presence in the North East.

For more than 20 years, Hayde Security has provided a patrol, keyholding and alarm response service to businesses, organisations and local authorities in the region.

The husband and wife team who steered the company to success, Barry and Pauline Hayes, are now taking retirement - and all the clients of Hayde Security have been told of the change in ownership.

Northern Security MD Paul Hopper said that acquisition would increase the NSL`s portfolio of contracts across a region where it was already expanding rapidly through organic growth.

Hayde Security, he added, was also a perfect match for Northern Security in that it combined high standards of client care with forward-looking policies on staff training and management.

"It quickly became evident to us that almost all of Hayde`s contracts were either repeat business or based on recommendations - and that`s almost as good a reference as you could hope for," said Paul.

"Hayde gave a highly personal service which was closely monitored to ensure that it delivered on promises. Training, supervising and motivating staff is a key to this which they understood.

"This chimes perfectly with our business philosophy, and which we know is crucial in achieving the best results for clients and the best performance from employees," he added.

Founded by former security industry manager Barry Hayes in 1986, Hayde`s area of operations extended from South Yorkshire to Gateshead, attracting both public and private sector contracts.

Its officers have long been a familiar and reassuring presence on a wide range of sites across the NE, from offices and factories to shopping centres and sports grounds.

"We are always happy to talk with security businesses who might help with our growth strategy - if their reputation and standards are a good fit with ours," said Paul.
