Background Information

The recruitment and employment of quality staff is our biggest investment. Our employees represent the public face of Northern Security and without them we would not exist. That is why your first meeting is SO important; it will help you decide if Northern Security is right for you... and of course if you are right for Northern Security. To help you get the most out of your interview, we have prepared the following guidelines and tips, take special note of the additional documents you MUST bring with you:

Preparation

  • The first step is to complete the application form.
    We receive your application form by email, with a version sent to you for your records. Please print a copy of your completed aplication that you receive by email and bring with you ensuring that your full five year work/back to school history is included, as this information is an essential requirement under the vetting and screening procedures required for our industry.
  • Important! You MUST also bring following documents with you to confirm your identity:
    Either TWO documents from the Group A options below, or ONE document from the Group A options below and TWO documents from the Group B document options listed below.
Group A Documents
  • Valid passport (whatever nationality you are).
  • UK Identity Card (issued only by the UK Home Office).
  • UK adoption certificate.
  • Signed UK Photo Driving Licence (BOTH parts of the licence are required, whether it is full or provisional).

Important Notes: All documents must be original, not photocopies. All combinations must confirm your correct name, current home address and date of birth. If any of your documents are not in English you must provide us with both the original and an English translation from an approved translator. All personal data will be used for the purposes of security screening and any documents presented to establish your identity and proof of residence may be checked using an ultra violet scanner or other method to deter theft and fraud. Any documents which appear to be forgeries will be reported to the relevant authority.

The interviewer will use your completed application form as the basis for discussion. From the information you have provided, together with the face-to-face interview, they will be able to find out if you:
